What data we collect, and why
Job applications
When you apply for a role through our Jobs page, we collect your first and last name, phone number, email address, country of residence, the position you applied for, your work experience, your CV, and your consent to processing. We use this data to assess your application, contact you about the role, and — with your knowledge — present your candidacy to the relevant employer. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) RODO) and, where relevant, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) RODO).
Employer inquiries
When a company contacts us through the "For Employers" page, we collect the company name, contact person, email, phone number, staffing needs, and message. We use this to respond to the inquiry and establish a business relationship. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Article 6(1)(f) RODO) and, where relevant, pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) RODO).
General contact
Messages sent through our Contact page (name, email, message) are used solely to respond to your question. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) RODO).
Website & cookies
This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Only data strictly necessary to deliver the pages you request is processed. If this changes in the future (for example, if we add site analytics), this policy will be updated and, where required, we will ask for your consent first.
How long we keep your data
- Applications from candidates we do not place: kept for up to 12 months from your application, so we can consider you for other suitable roles, after which it is deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
- Candidates we successfully place: kept for as long as necessary for the business relationship and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
- Employer inquiries and general contact messages: kept for up to 12 months, or longer if needed to resolve an ongoing matter.
These are our current default periods — if you'd like a different period for any category, or want your data deleted sooner, contact us and we will act on your request.
Who we share your data with
- The Dutch employer(s) you are being considered for, so they can evaluate your application — only once you've applied and only for roles relevant to you. The Netherlands is within the EU/EEA, so this does not involve a transfer outside the EU/EEA.
- Netlify, Inc., our website hosting and form-processing provider, which stores the information you submit through our forms. Netlify is based in the United States; this transfer is safeguarded through Netlify's Data Processing Addendum and the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
- Public authorities, where disclosure is required by law (e.g. tax or accounting obligations).
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Your rights
Under RODO/GDPR, you have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; receive a copy of your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above.
Complaints
If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example as our services or the tools we use change. The current version always applies and will be published on this page.
